Putting multiple tenants data all in one database seems like a bad idea to me unless there is a reason to have it combined. I know if I was a user of the system, I would want my data in a separate database and not combined with other peoples. But, that is just cloud in general, you are giving control of your data to someone else. Personally, if I was designing a multi-tenant system, I would put the data in separate databases and just adjust the connection string to point to one database or another depending on what tenant the connection is from.
